Describe the Gestalt cycle, and explain how "analysis paralysis" occurs

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: Change in the Gestalt cycle begins when an individual or organization senses something that is not quite right, and moves on to become aware of a deficiency or a need to make a change. The individual or organization then progresses to other steps in the cycle — mobilizing resources, going into action, and making contact by facing the change head on. Sometimes, however, people stall in one of the first two stages of the process. They become "paralyzed" — spending all of their efforts trying to sense and become aware of the problem rather than taking concrete steps to make a change and solve the problem. They cannot move on to the other steps and complete the cycle through resolution, closure and assessment.
