How does MPR interact with other corporate communication functions? Provide a brief example to illustrate your answer

What will be an ideal response?

MPR can overlap with or be an integral part of corporate communications endeavors. As a result, MPR professionals must understand how the various areas of communications interrelate. For example, in a large public company, investor relations would likely be the first of the communications departments to learn about a potential financial concern at the firm, and would be responsible for working with investors and the financial press to ensure that they disseminate information in a fashion that is favorable to the company with regard to the firm's stockholders. Employee relations would concentrate on informing and educating the firm's management and staff to keep them aware of the situation and to let them know what is expected of them and how the issue will affect them. Marketing Public Relations would handle the issue relative to existing and prospective customers.
