List and briefly explain the five decision?making methods

What will be an ideal response?

Consensus, the method of decision making where all group members are willing to
support a given decision or solution, generally takes the most time. Majority rule is when the
solution voted on by the largest number of members is adopted. It is less timeconsuming than
consensus, but can leave the minority vote members feeling left out or dissatisfied. Minority
rule is the opposite of majority rule, and occurs when a select number of group members make
the decision for the entire group. Minority rule is frequently employed in committee work. One
of its disadvantages is that opportunities for creativity are lessened when the decision making
is left to fewer group members. The expert opinion method is when the group allows the
decision to be made by someone who is most educated about the problem. However, this
solution, too, can lead to flawed outcomes with little to no input from other group members.
Finally, there is authority rule, where group members allow the group leader to make the
decision for the group.
