What are the ways in which international business and its managers can ensure that ethical issues are considered in business decisions?
What will be an ideal response?
Answer: Several studies of unethical behavior in a business setting have concluded that businesspeople sometimes do not realized they are behaving unethically. They apply a straightforward business calculus to what they perceive to be a business decision, forgetting that the decision may also have an important ethical dimension. The best starting point to improve ethical decision-making is to better understand how individuals make decisions that can be considered ethical or unethical in an organizational environment. One way to ensure ethical decisions are considered is by simply asking "Is this decision or action ethical?". A second way is to create an organizational culture that does not emphasize business ethics. Leaders who lead ethically are also important for a business.
