What is the difference between aggregation and composition? Give an example of each

What will be an ideal response?

In aggregation, one object acts as the "whole" while the second object plays the role of the "part." The whole object is called an aggregate. If an aggregate relationship is very strong, it is called "composition." In composition, the part belongs to one, and only one, whole object. Moreover, the part can exist only as long as the whole exists. The "whole" in such a relationship is called a composite and in a class diagram is represented by a filled diamond.
