Explain how the distribution of t-scores differ from the distribution of z-scores.

What will be an ideal response?

Unlike the distribution of z-scores, the shape of the distribution of t scores changes as sample size increases. The larger the sample size, the closer the t value will be to the z-score for that sample. This is due to the use of estimated standard error (from the sample standard deviation) instead of the standard error calculated from a known population.
