Differentiate between a push and a pull system
What will be an ideal response?
A push system dumps orders on the next downstream workstation, regardless of timeliness and resource availability. A pull system uses signals to request production and delivery from upstream stations to the station that has production facilities available. In a pull system, materials or parts are pulled where they are needed when they are needed.
