Speech to instruct—teaches or demonstrates a process.
Example: Matt instructed the art class in the techniques of painting with water colors.

Speech to explain—clarifies a concept or issue.
Example: Nguyen met with citizens to clear up their questions about the new recycling rules.

Speech to report—is an oral progress report or briefing, typically given by a person who is part of a group or organization, including the workplace.
Example: Alejandro from Human Resources updated workers on the insurance changes that would be implemented soon.
