1. Behavior
2. Two possible interpretations of the behavior
3. Request for clarification of the behavior
Example: "Sam, you haven't been to class for the past week." (Behavior) "Have you been ill? Or are you having trouble getting here?" (Two interpretations) "What's up?" (Request for clarification)
