Evaluate the rule of Pope Julius II in terms of his contributions to the arts in Rome as well as his political involvement with the country at large

What will be an ideal response?

Julius II was known as the "Warrior Pope" and he spent long periods in the field leading troops in an effort to gain back territory for the Papal States. This put him at odds with many rulers of the day. His artistic commissions were many and varied and the careers of many artists were solidified because of their work for this pope: Michelangelo, Raphael, and Bramante, among others.
