Define an endangerment site, provide several examples, and discuss their relevance to massage

What will be an ideal response?

An endangerment site is a location in the body with sensitive or delicate tissues, such as the eyes, peripheral nerves or arteries, the xiphoid process at the tip of the sternum, and the styloid process of the temporal bone. Endangerment sites could be damaged from pressure placed upon them during massage and bodywork, therefore these sites should be avoided. A practitioner will need to learn the location of endangerment sites to be able to use caution when working around them.
