Suppose you have used appropriate heading styles to identify a hierarchy of topics in a document, and then used Word 2013 to create a table of contents. You find that one section in the paper is not necessary, so you remove it. Is it possible for Word to update the table of contents, and if so, how can you make that happen?

What will be an ideal response?

A table of contents inserted by Word is considered a field. To update the field to include document changes, click the table of contents to select the field. Then click Update Table.
