Define the concepts of pattern
What will be an ideal response?
Pattern is the core of the solution to a problem that occurs repeatedly in an environment. Patterns are neither methodologies nor recipes. Methodologies paint the development process in broad brushstrokes and stay clear of specific problems. Recipes or cookbooks, on the other hand, are about very specific problems. Each pattern describes a problem that occurs over and over again in our environment, and then describes the core of the solution to that problem, in such a way that you can use this solution a million times over, without ever doing it the same way twice.
