Describe, in your own words, the relationship between critical thinking and critical listening
What will be an ideal response?
Engaging in critical thinking and critical listening are mutually beneficial activities. When we
critically listen, we analyze the information and speaker presenting the information for validity and
logical sequence. In order to engage in any of these activities, we must have critical thinking skills that
enable us to evaluate and assess the speakers' content and character. Answers will vary.
