Describe uses and abuses of intelligence tests

The answer should describe the ways in which intelligence tests have been used to
identify the specific learning needs of students (including those who suffer from mental
retardation). The answer should also note that intelligence testing has several potential abuses:
cultural bias, overemphasis on the importance of intelligence tests scores in schools, and
discrimination against those persons who score low on intelligence tests.
