Explain the levels on which a personnel security process should be conducted.

The reviews of the personnel security process should be conducted on at least two levels. Large-scale reviews should be conducted on a company-wide basis in order to confirm the general effectiveness of the organization's personnel security operation. Focused reviews should also be conducted for each job category in order to confirm that all of the employees in that category conform to the requirements for that particular group. Since conditions can change over time, the assumptions behind the privileges as well as the process for assigning them should also be periodically reviewed for each category. The aim is to confirm that the specific privileges that have been assigned for a given job category continue to be valid and effective.
