Use simple words – words that are immediately understandable to your listeners and doesn’t use jargon or pompous wording. “The explosions were huge!”
Use words correctly – knowing when to refer to an English usage handbook or a dictionary when necessary. Uses denotation and connotation. “The cinematography was astounding; the colors were vibrant in the well-established shots.”
Use words concisely – using only as many words as necessary to convey the message. “Finally, the movie ended with a twist.”
