What is stress and what is the relationship between stress and productivity?
Stress is the body's response to an external pressure that causes a reaction or deviation from "normal" in a person. Some levels of stress are beneficial because they stimulate a person and enhance productivity. On the other hand, too much stress causes decrements to productivity, because the person spends too much energy trying to deal with feelings of stress and not enough energy at the task.
