The text presented four heuristics that we use in making decisions. Choose any two--explain them and give an example of how they are used
What will be an ideal response?
* We often seek information that confirms our solution to a problem, but we have a tendency to do so without adequately testing other possibilities, which can lead to the confirmation bias.
* The representative heuristic determines whether a particular instance represents a certain class or category.
* The availability heuristic determines the probability of an event by how readily it comes to mind.
* We often compare our obtained information with some standard that may be constantly changing.
* The response should include examples of each of the characteristics.
