Describe the information processing model of memory, focusing on the different types of memory. Describe and differentiate each type, giving special attention to the "subtypes" of the longest-lasting memory.

What will be an ideal response?

The model states that there are three types of memory, Sensory, Short-term or Working and Long-term. Sensory memory is brief, working memory lasts less than a half minute unless one repeats it to keep it in short-term or working memory. Short-term or working memory can be encoded to put the memory into long-term memory, from which it can be retrieved to short-term or working memory.
