Explain the difference between the Military Health System (MHS) and the Veterans Health Administration (VHA)

The MHS administers health care for active members of the uniformed services; the care is provided by military treatment facilities and networks of civilian health care professionals. The VHA provides medical, surgical, and rehabilitative care to veterans of the armed services.
