In general, is an individual's personality stable? Explain

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: Yes, for the most part. Personality is described by traits, which by definition are the relatively stable tendencies of individuals. Thus, over time you would expect a person high in neuroticism to act anxious and worried and a person high in openness to be imaginative, creative, and always seeking new experiences.
