How does MPR planning overlap with a firm's other planning efforts?

What will be an ideal response?

MPR crosses strategic and tactical lines and business disciplines. For example, MPR needs to be a part of a firm's strategic marketing plan, yet may also be called upon to participate tactically in a product launch or to deal with a crisis. Additionally, many larger organizations have separate marketing and communication functions, so MPR may need to operate within the corporate communications context and coordinate its efforts with investor relations, employee relations, and community relations activities. As a result, MPR professionals can expect to create several different plans over the course of the year.
