Define and describe SOA
What will be an ideal response?
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a form of distributed computing and modular
programming. Its fundamentals parallels that of Web Services because it uses the same
architectural concept and it can be implemented with Web Services. SOA exposes data and functions in a way that other systems can easily use–as a service in a wrapper with a well-defined interface that performs a business process. The wrapping hides the technical complexities developers have had to incorporate in their point-to-point interfaces.
