How is the Snapping command used?

What will be an ideal response?

When the Snapping command is active, two clips will snap together with
"magnetic attraction" on the Timeline, leaving no gaps or flash frames between
shots. The command can be invoked in three ways: by pressing the S key,
choosing it from the Sequence menu, or clicking a button that looks like a small
magnet in the upper-left corner of the Timeline panel. Snapping also allows you
to drag an edit and "snap" it to wherever the playhead (current-time indicator)
is located. Holding the Shift key will cause the Playhead to snap too.
