Students should choose three serious game categories and compare them – discussing their similarities and differences. Categories include those outlined in Exercise 1. Students might provide these comparisons in narrative form (paragraph) or in a table or spreadsheet showing similarities and differences in separate columns. A comparison between health/medical games and exergames might show contrast between healing (health/medical) and fitness/movement (exergames) game goals – and between practitioners/patients (health/medical) and general consumers (exergames) as target markets. (Instructors may wish to have students explore serious games on a variety of platforms – whether or not the games are developed using Creator.)
