Distinguish between connection-oriented network services and connectionless network services.

What will be an ideal response?

Connection-oriented network services are provided by stream sockets. While the
connection is in place, data flows between the processes in continuous streams. A
connectionless network system transmits individual packets of information with datagram sockets. This system does not guarantee that packets arrive in any particular order. In addition, packets can be lost or duplicated.
