What will be an ideal response?
When a user first logs onto Windows, a user profile is created, which is a collection of user data and settings, and consists of two general items. The first is the • user folder together with its subfolders. These items are created under the C:\Users folder, for example, C:\Users\Jean Andrews. This folder contains a group of subfolders collectively called the user profile namespace. (In general, a namespace is a container to hold data, for example, a folder.). The second item is the NTUSER.DAT file. NTUSER.DAT is a hidden file stored in the C:\Users\username folder and contains user settings. Each time the user logs on, the contents of this file are copied to a location in the registry.
