The pure selling approach is used when an agent or representative takes an individual with certain qualities and characteristics and seeks out someone who may want or need the benefit of these qualities and characteristics. Examples given by students will vary. The textbook addresses an agent of a celebrity who presents the qualifications of the client to potential buyers in need of the talents of the celebrity.
