Alice is the president and CEO of Happy Company, a business which is subject to the 1964 Civil Rights Act. She is a big fan of the TV show “Dancing with the Stars.” In order to have interests similar to hers, she has instructed the hiring manager to give each applicant a quiz on this TV show and not to hire anyone who failed the quiz. As it turned out more than 75% of female applicants passed this quiz and less than 25% of male applicants passed the quiz. All applicants who failed the quiz were not offered jobs.
