Are video games addictive?
What will be an ideal response?
ANS: Addiction is not the proper term to use, but there are many documented cases of pathological involvement with video games that qualify as a mental disease. Many others withdraw from real-world activities due to their involvement in games. However, most players can learn to control their online habits and only extreme cases in which there are dire life consequences – such as flunking out of college—should be considered truly pathological.
