Answer: These are the five information systems:-

(i). Database management systems:- It is very useful to maintain database management for the records of students and proferssors in database.

(ii). Learning management systems:- Most of the universities are providing learning material online for their students. It also consists of student teacher interaction from home. Due to hesitation many students don't ask their doubts in classes, but they can easily clear their doubt in online session.

(iii). Decision support systems:- In this system , decisions are taken by the upper level members of the universities such as vacancies for new professors, releasing admission notification for new course etc.

(iv). Transaction processing systems:- It is mandatory to manage transaction processing securely to run universities. An accounting is maintained for transaction processing. payment made to professors, fees of students etc are maintained in this section.

(v). Office information systems:- universities need staffs who can represent information at correct time in systemized manner. All the office work is done here. This system also maintains infrastructure details such as managing number of computers required or replaced , repairing details inside university etc.
