Why is it important to design an app for different orientations (portrait and landscape)?
What will be an ideal response?
It is important to design an app for both portrait and landscape orientations because some apps look better in either landscape or in portrait mode, and when text is justified, the gaps between words seem to be larger in portrait mode, making it more difficult to read. Some apps, such as a calculator, change functionality when switched between landscape and portrait mode.
