Discuss some strategies for dealing with emotional noise

What will be an ideal response

Emotional noise is a self barrier occurring when emotional arousal from words, phrases, or differences in cultural background interferes with communication effectiveness. When communicating with someone who is emotionally distraught you should remain calm and focused and try simply to communicate your interest in the other person. Other suggestions are to take a deep breath to calm yourself and incorporate self-talk by telling yourself you won't get angry.
