Microsoft Word has several features that will help you when editing a document. Please describe the following: insertion point, word wrap, and Overtype/Insert mode.

What will be an ideal response?

The insertion point(or cursor) is a vertical bar that indicates your current location in the document. The insertion point is not the same as the I-bar. As you type, the insertion point moves to show where the next character will appear. Click anywhere in the document workspace to move the insertion point to that location.
Through a feature known as word wrap, the insertion point automatically jumps down to the beginning of the next line when you reach the right margin of the current line. If the last word you type is too long for the line, it is moved down to the beginning of the next line. Press the Enter key only when you complete a paragraph.
Use the Insert key on your keyboard to toggle between Overtype and Insert mode. Overtype mode causes new characters to be typed over existing characters. Insert mode causes new characters to be inserted at the current location in the document.
