You and your partner are expectant parents. Based on what you know about differences in emotional expression between boys and girls, what can you expect to be the case if your baby is a boy or a girl?

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: Male and female babies do not differ in how much they cry, and the increase in heart rate after seeing emotional content is similar between men and women. Girls and women do cry more often than boys and men. At least in terms of emotional expression, the stereotype that women are more emotional than men is true. However, men and women experience the same emotions at the same intensity.
