What Gestalt principles contribute to the organization of the window depicted in the following figure? Explain.

The title and subtitle (“QuickTime Player: Play and edit QuickTime movies” are set off from the rest of the text on the page. They form a group, as does the copyright information at the bottom of the page. Proximity forms these groups. Notice that there is another Gestalt principle at work here – the title text is different in appearance from the copyright text. Thus similarity is also operating. An aside: groupings are strengthened when more than one Gestalt principle is participating the in the group making. This is an indication of a strong visual organization.
Some students may also notice closure at work in the apple shape.
