What are some reasons that adopting a new DBMS solution such as Oracle would not be considered a feasible option for Gaming Master?

What will be an ideal response?

Daryl had already been using a Microsoft Access DBMS to manage part of his business and therefore he had some familiarity with the application. When determining the feasibility of a different solution there are two main concerns that should be addressed:
• Technical feasibility – in order to accommodate a new DBMS, additional software would need to be installed and possibly additional hardware as well.
• Operational feasibility – Adopting a new DBMS such as Oracle would require Daryl to become fully trained on the new system, which may require SQL and other programming languages to fully meet his needs.
Based on these two factors adopting a new DBMS does not seem feasible at this time. Since Microsoft Access can meet the needs of the business and there is already some familiarity with the software, there is no need to change to a different DBMS.
