Why were name servers created?
What will be an ideal response?
In the past, computers on the Internet relied on an address book containing host tables. These tables were text files that stored all the names and IP addresses of hosts on the Internet. Whenever a new computer was added to the Internet, the host table had to be updated for all computers. You can imagine the results when multiple computers were added to the Internet daily. For this reason, name servers were created.
