How is the language of theatre applied to dramaturgical interviewing?

What will be an ideal response?

In theatre, some people act symbolically for others who watch symbolically. The social actors (or actors) convey meaning through coded words and deeds. The social audience (or audience) understands these meanings by decoding them. The symbolic action passing between actor and audience is called a social performance, or simply performance. The interviewer (or the actor) symbolically plays a role, and takes on various roles to create a performance for the subject. The constructed relationship is used to draw out information from the subject.
