Using good grammar explain how virtual memory works
What will be an ideal response?
Virtual memory is using hard drive space as if it were RAM. When the operating system needs more memory than is available in motherboard RAM, the system uses hard drive space to swap old data from the memory chips to the hard drive space until such a time that the data is needed again. Then the data is retrieved from the hard drive and placed into RAM.
