Intradepartmental teams are made up of people from the same department or work unit who have different educational backgrounds, job duties, and scopes of practice. Interdepartmental teams are made up of people from different departments with different educational backgrounds, job duties, and scopes of practice. Work teams meet on an ongoing basis as part of their jobs. Project teams meet for a specified period of time and disband when their project has been completed.
