Discuss the following statement: "International companies based in countries that accept bribery are at a business advantage to companies that are bound by the International Corrupt Practices Act.

What will be an ideal response?

Ans: Companies that are based in countries that accept bribery are at an advantage because they can offer bribes to get things that they want and the help that they need. They can also brush things other the rug when things go wrong or when violations turn up, all they need to do is offer a bribe. It may not always be ethical for companies to offer bribes. Companies that are bound by international corrupt practices act are often times acting more ethical and will be seen as a better company because they are not offering bribes
