Discuss the various unions involved in the motion picture industry
What will be an ideal response?
Unions are quite prevalent in the motion picture industry. Some of the larger unions (sometimes called "guilds") include the Writers Guild of America (WGA), the Directors Guild of America (DGA), and certainly the Screen Actors Guild (SAG). Other unions include the Producer's Guild of America (PGA). Unions, of course, bargain collectively on behalf of their members (who pay a fee to maintain membership).
