Answer: Moral courage enables mangers to walk away from a decision that is profitable but unethical and give an employee the strength to say no to a superior who instructs them to pursue actions that are unethical. Companies can strengthen the moral courage of employees by commit themselves to not retaliate against employees who exercise moral courage, say not to superiors, or otherwise complain about unethical actions.
