Students should utilize critical thinking in the answers, and may draw on all of the previously covered material in the text, including the history and physical examination (when appropriate).Answers should include, but may not be limited to:
· Identification of each of these three elements provide a holistic portrait of the:
i. presenting problem,
ii. potential diagnosis,
iii. methods utilized to definitively diagnose (or rule out) the presenting problem, as well as
iv. proposed treatment plan.
· Each of these elements are supported by the documented history and physical examination, both of which provide the clinical rationale that is the foundation for the identified medical decision making.
