Describe each of the four styles of communication including the likely outcome of each style

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: The four communication styles are assertive, aggressive, passive, and passive-aggressive. Assertive communication is the most effective in conflict resolution. In assertive communication, you state your opinion openly and honestly but in a way that shows respect and consideration for the other person. This approach presents the best opportunity for both people to work together, to compromise, and to reach a win-win resolution. In aggressive communication, you state your opinion openly and honestly but in a way that fails to show respect and consideration for the other person. With aggressive communication, the conflict usually gets worse. In passive communication, you fail to state your opinion openly and honestly, demonstrate no self-respect, and you appear pitiful. In passive-aggressive communication, you fail to express your opinion openly and honestly, demonstrate no self-respect, and then later you do something to "get even." Passive-aggressive communication is underhanded and dishonest.
