What will be an ideal response?

• "Chart the music you hear daily." For example, note the uses of background music in local stores through interviews with those who listen to such music (sales people, managers, customers, and so on).
• "Examine the music in your personal background." For example, identify your own musical tastes and how they have changed as you have grown older.
• "Explore music in your own community." For example, interview people connected with the music in your local club scene, as well as listen to performances in the clubs themselves.
• Concentrate on "an individual musician's life, opinions, and music." For example, narrow your subject to a professional or amateur musical performer in your own community.
