What is the SFC tool, and how can it be used to identify files that may need manual replacement?
What will be an ideal response?
The System File Checker (SFC) tool can be used to find and replace corrupted Windows system files. The tool keeps a log of its actions, and, if it cannot replace a corrupted file, you can find that information in the log file. Then you can manually replace the file. To do so, you can use the takeown command to take ownership of a system file and the icacls command to get full access to the file.
