Explain the guidelines for an impromptu speech

What will be an ideal response?

There are four key guidelines for impromptu speaking.
(a) Speak on a topic you know well as the more you know, the better you will be able to
effectively present your ideas.
(b) Make the most of the time you have to prepare, even time spent walking to a podium can be
used to plan what you will say.
(c) Focus on just a single or a very few key points. The speech is not planned, no one will expect
a long lecture.
(d) Be brief. As one old saying goes, "Stand up. Speak up. Shut up. Sit down." Say what you
need, but don't try to extend it unnecessarily.
